Hi, I'm Gonza.

A passionate advertising leader from Argentina with a strategic and creative approach, and a history of innovative and award-winning global campaigns.

Work

Gonzalo is an Argentine account lead driven by a genuine passion for advertising, strategy and brand building — and, above all, for the stories and people behind the work. He believes a good client relationship starts with a healthy team culture: warmth, closeness, and an environment relaxed enough for people to bring their full selves to work while still chasing the same ambition and professionalism.

He started his career in Buenos Aires at Ogilvy, working on Banco Santander, before moving to Geometry to lead regional BTL and Shopper Marketing work for The Coca-Cola Company across South America. During this period he studied strategy at Miami Ad School, which opened the door to planning and gave him a more constructive, strategy-first way of reading creative work.

In 2018, he took a year off to travel, returning in 2020 to join what was then Publicis Italia in Milan — later rebranded LePub. That's where his relationship with Heineken began: in the middle of a global lockdown, his first projects were about helping bars survive forced closures, work that eventually grew into a full brand platform built through campaigns like Shutter Ads and Pubmuseums, among others.

A seven-month detour in 2021 took him to Lola Barcelona — the same year he moved to live in the city — where he worked on Bayer's European business, mainly across Italy, Switzerland and Spain. He returned to LePub in 2022 in a more creative-driven account role, helping steer projects through what the agency internally calls its Road to Cannes pipeline, a push for creative excellence across global, regional and local work. That role had him collaborating with other network offices, including Mexico and Singapore, and building new bridges with Publicis agencies in Argentina and Ireland. In parallel, from 2020 to 2025 he ran the Heineken Spain account separately from the global relationship — a vantage point that gave him a feel for both a global brand narrative and the sharper, more immediate needs of a single local market.

By late 2025, he was back in Buenos Aires, taking on new business for LePub's expansion into South America. Today, he's looking for the next challenge to bring that same energy, curiosity and care for people to.
